Business Operations Manager

Job Description:

ISS is seeking a seasoned Business Operations Manager to oversee the effective management and production of food and beverage services across multiple sites in South Australia and Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate a positive work environment where learning and personal development are benchmarks by which quality improvement is driven.
  • Management and leadership of the food and beverage team across multiple sites in SA and WA.
  • Management of catering operations in line with contractual obligations while ensuring client and staff satisfaction.
  • Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques are established and monitored to meet ISS brand standard guidelines.
  • Work with the executive and head chef to take corrective action where appropriate and within company guidelines if standards are not met.
  • Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained by the entire kitchen team to meet health and safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines.
  • Ensure menus for all routine meal services, private, and formal functions are in accordance with contractual agreements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

At least 3 years' experience leading and developing a multi-faceted food and beverage business with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.

Demonstrated experience maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.

Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Operations, Business, Food and Beverage, or related discipline.

Holding and maintaining the following qualifications/certifications: HACCP Level 3 qualifications, First Aid Certificate - Level 3, Food Safety Supervisor certification, and RSA certificate.

Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment (currently TAE40122).

Basic accounting skills including budgeting and reporting.
