We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef Manager to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional catering services.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is ideal for a dedicated and experienced Chef who can manage a busy kitchen, ensure compliance with food safety regulations, and develop the skills of their team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality catering services that meet the needs of residents and enrich their lives.
  • Manage the rostering of kitchen staff and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Lead and coach all kitchen personnel, developing their skills and maximising potential.
Requirements
  • Experience in food preparation and cooking for large numbers of people, preferably including vulnerable individuals.
  • Proven experience to run a busy, high-volume food service.
  • Excellent food safety knowledge and understanding of rostering.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Aged care experience is highly regarded, and applicants must have full working rights and be able to pass a national police clearance.
