Food service workers are needed in assisted living centres, bakeries, event centres, grocery stores, hotels & restaurants. Our employment centre knows of multiple opportunities available for individuals ready to be trained to start work in the food industry. Let our team assist you, free of charge, in connecting with the local workforce by becoming a registered CES client.

Certifications and Training

- Food certifications: Our employment centre offers a step-by-step pathway to become a sought-after food services worker. Select the certification(s) you can complete at no cost to you:

- Food Handler certification (Course value: $56.44, free after registration)

- Smart Serve certification (Course value: $44.95, free after registration)

- Skills and safety courses: Once registered with CES, you can build your workplace interpersonal skills and safety awareness. Choose additional training to improve your qualifications for food service employment, at no cost to you:

- Excellence in Customer Service

- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)

- AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act)

- Worker Health & Safety Awareness in 4 Steps
