Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Specialist to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its guidelines, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to clients in accordance with their NDIS plans.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming.
  • Provide transportation assistance to clients.
  • Offer respite care to clients and their families.
  • Provide overnight/sleepover care.
  • Assist with medication administration while adhering to Point Care's policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' care plans and progress.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of high school or equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support, or equivalent or higher.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
