About the Role

As a Kitchen Hand at Eureka Villages, you'll support the day to day kitchen operations to ensure residents enjoy nutritious, home-style meals in a clean, welcoming environment.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparation of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert items
  • Support safe and hygienic plating and service of meals
  • Maintain a clean and sanitised kitchen area in accordance with food safety standards
  • Help with dishwashing and general cleaning of equipment, utensils, and surfaces
  • Receive and store food deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation
  • Follow direction from the Chef and contribute to a smooth kitchen workflow
  • Provide friendly interactions with residents during service, supporting a homely atmosphere
  • Report maintenance or food safety issues promptly to the Chef or Village Manager
  • Assist with basic record keeping (e.g. temperature checks, cleaning logs) if required
What You\'ll Bring
  • Previous experience as a kitchen hand (Essential)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Food Safety qualification (desirable)
