Our organization is committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and dreams. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support services.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver personalized support to clients, adhering to their NDIS plans.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Provide transportation assistance to clients, ensuring safe and timely arrival at appointments and outings.
- Offer respite care to clients and their families, providing relief and support during challenging times.
- Provide overnight/sleepover care, ensuring the client's comfort and well-being.
- Administer medication safely and accurately, following Point Care policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of clients' care plans and progress, ensuring seamless communication with our team.
- A minimum of high school or equivalent qualification.
- Certificate 3 in individual support, or higher.
- Experience working with people with disabilities, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
