Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Industrial Equipment Technician at various locations in Ashroad (Prestons), Smithfield & Horsley Park. You will be responsible for fault finding and proactively repairing site and production machinery as well as preventative maintenance, enabling the site and production team to run efficiently and produce high-quality products.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Production Line Set Up and Changeovers: Ensure smooth operations by setting up production lines and performing changeovers when required.
  • Proactive Maintenance and Servicing: Undertake regular maintenance and servicing to minimise production downtime.
  • Problem Solving and Initiative: Decide on the most efficient approach to problem solving and proactive maintenance initiatives.
  • Fault Finding: Identify and rectify faults in production machinery and equipment.
  • Repair and Replacement of Machinery Parts: Replace or repair damaged parts to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Daily Operations: Assist in daily operations of site services including compressors and chillers.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Complete scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns.
  • Optimising Production Output: Continuously review production lines to ensure optimal output.
  • Safety Procedures: Implement site safety procedures and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Maintenance Documentation: Record and maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
