About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our masonry plant at our Oakdale Industrial Estate site in Horsley Park, NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive vehicles within specified capacities to transport materials to and from destinations such as railway stations, plants, residences, offices, or within industrial yards.
  • Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as fuel, oil, water, tyres, lights, or brakes, to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition.
  • Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
  • Loading and unloading trucks.
  • Maintaining records for goods delivered or loaded and verifying the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
  • Maintaining records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations.
  • Reading maps and following written or verbal geographic directions.
  • Using and maintaining tools, electronic devices, or equipment found on commercial vehicles, such as weighing or measuring devices.
  • Reporting delays, accidents, or other situations to bases or other vehicles using provided equipment.
Requirements
  • Current HC Licence and Forklift Licence.
  • Capable of driving both Rigid and Heavy Combination vehicles.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good knowledge of New South Wales road network.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Experience in the delivery of building products (desirable)
