About The Role:

As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a vital role in their fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively identify and coordinate preventative maintenance across the site.
  • Prioritise breakdowns on site while adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Execute planned maintenance tasks.
  • Document detailed accounts of all work performed on the system.
  • Investigate and fault-find plant or equipment issues.
About You:

To succeed in this position, you must possess:

  • A Mechanical Fitter Trade qualification or equivalent.
  • Solid knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience in repairing, modifying, and enhancing machinery.
  • Strong fault-finding and RCA skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and machinery manuals.
  • Qualification and skills in welding, turning and sheet metal fabrication.
  • Flexibility to work a twelve-hour shift schedule: Wednesday to Saturday, 8 pm - 6 am, and Thursday to Saturday, 6 pm - 6 am.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical systems and components is advantageous.
