Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Cost Optimisation Expert to drive the evaluation and implementation of a modern FinOps tooling stack. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the identification and modernisation of inefficient processes, ensuring we extract maximum business value from every initiative.

About the Role
  • Define current, transition, and target state solution architectures aligned with domain strategy.
  • Provide design leadership, ensuring solutions are reusable, scalable, secure, and implementable.
  • Evaluate FinOps tooling and lead the implementation of a modern, efficient stack.
  • Identify and modernise inefficient FinOps processes, driving documentation, best practices, and cost-conscious workflows.
  • Provide technical leadership and influence stakeholders to embed a culture of cloud cost optimisation across the organisation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' IT experience, including 3 years in IT Architecture or Design.
  • Hands-on cloud solution architecture experience, including AWS and/or Azure.
  • Exposure to FinOps practices and cloud cost optimisation.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills to drive alignment and change.
  • Familiarity with ArchiMate, Agile and Lean methodologies (desired), and background in insurance or financial services (desired).
