Cloud Security Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a cloud security specialist and play a key role in protecting an organisation from cyber threats.

The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of current information security tools, best practices, and regulations. They will have experience in uplifting security posture and providing level 2/3 support for Microsoft cloud systems.

  • Develop programs to protect against cyber threats and ensure policies and practices are up-to-date.
  • Establish productive working relationships with vendors and technology partners to ensure cloud solutions meet organisational needs.
  • Provide customer support and implement asset lifecycle management.
  • Develop budgets and coordinate contracts with vendors and third parties.
  • Maintain governance frameworks for cloud usage and cost management.
  • Work collaboratively with vendors to update protocols and ensure security controls are met.
  • Manage responses to security incidents and develop incident response plans.
  • Contribute to IT-related audit and compliance activities.
  • Develop initiatives to ensure cloud platforms are available, optimised, and fit-for-purpose.
  • Partner with stakeholders to resolve complex issues and provide expert advice.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of ICT strategy and other relevant policy frameworks.
  • Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of the latest security threats, trends, and advancements in cloud technologies.
