Cloud Architect - Financial Operations


Description

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of a modern FinOps tooling stack, driving cost optimisation across our multi-cloud environment.

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud architecture, FinOps practices, and stakeholder management. You will be responsible for defining current, transition, and target state solution architectures aligned with business strategy, providing design leadership to ensure solutions are reusable, scalable, secure, and implementable.

You will also evaluate FinOps tooling and lead the implementation of a modern, efficient stack, identifying and modernising inefficient processes, documenting best practices, and driving cost-conscious workflows.

As a Cloud Architect, you will provide technical leadership and influence stakeholders to embed a culture of cloud cost optimisation across the organisation, driving alignment and change through strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' IT experience, including 3 years in IT Architecture or Design.
  • Hands-on cloud solution architecture experience, including AWS and/or Azure.
  • Exposure to FinOps practices and cloud cost optimisation.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills to drive alignment and change.
