Child and Adolescent Mental Health Clinical Lead

A highly experienced Clinical Leader is required to provide expert clinical services, governance, and support to a multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, or Social Workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and evidence-based interventions with children, adolescents, and their families/carers experiencing high-level acuity of mental health issues
  • Clinical leadership and supervision to mental health clinicians from all disciplines, upholding standards of clinical practice
  • Demonstrated expertise in legislative frameworks for working with children and adolescents with mental health problems

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA
  • 5 years full-time equivalent postgraduate experience in mental health services (for Registered Nurses)
  • Proven ability to think critically, problem solve, and make timely, sound clinical decisions
  • Demonstrated high level of knowledge and understanding of NSW Mental Health Act (2007) and relevant child protection regulations
