Health and Safety Manager

Pact Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced WHS Lead to join our Contract Manufacturing division at our Horsley Park site.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving a safety improvement culture on the production floor, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, regulations, and licenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation and coordination of Work Health, Safety, and Environment systems at the new site
- Review and maintenance of the site's WHS system to ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures
- Communication of company and legislative WHS requirements to all employees
- Lead external WHS audits and develop corrective and preventative action plans
- Ensure WHS system compliance with Customer Quality or Integrity requirements
- Track key WHS indicators and report results to Management
- Assist in managing workers' compensation claims and ensuring the Return-to-Work program is functional
- Participate in the WHS Committee and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses
Requirements:
- Previous experience in establishing a new manufacturing site and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with Quality Systems, GMP, HACCP, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
- Knowledge of Industrial Relations, local WHS regulations, legislation, and Cultural Diversity in the Workplace
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sales/Client Relationship experience
- Unrestricted Car Licence
- Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree in a Safety-related field
