Delivering Comprehensive After-Hours Medical Care
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced After-Hours Telehealth GP to join our multidisciplinary team in revolutionizing the way healthcare is delivered to older Australians.
About the Role- Conducting Comprehensive Clinical Assessments: Provide timely, high-quality support from a multidisciplinary team, ensuring continuity of care for residents.
- Managing Medication Regimens: Issue prescriptions, order investigations as needed, and effectively manage acute issues raised by facility staff.
- Effective Communication and Documentation: Communicate with family members, provide referrals to specialists where required, and ensure accurate documentation within 30 minutes of completing rounds.
- Weekday evenings: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
- Weekends: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm | 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm | 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
- Average 4 consultations per hour, depending on case complexity
- Current AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
- Experience in residential aged care or primary care settings (highly regarded)
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
- Confidence using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach
