About the Role
  • Conduct after-hours telehealth rounds for residential aged care facilities.
  • Provide acute medical support, clinical oversight, and continuity of care for residents.
  • Update medication charts, issue prescriptions, and order investigations as needed.
  • Manage and follow up on acute issues raised by facility staff.
  • Communicate with family members and provide referrals to specialists where required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation within 30 minutes of completing rounds.
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA General or Specialist Registration.
  • Experience in residential aged care or primary care settings is highly regarded.
  • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills are essential.
  • Confidence in using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records is necessary.
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach is required.
  • A reliable internet connection and your own laptop are also required.
