The Role:

This role is about shaping the future of mining performance. Schlam sets the benchmark with Barracuda Buckets and haulage attachments that miners demand due to their high productivity, efficiency, and profitability.

  • As our Business Development Manager - Attachments, you'll be more than a salesperson; you'll be the face of Schlam's growth strategy.
  • You'll be the trusted advisor to major mining operators and ensure our products become industry standards.

Your Toolbox:

Your daily drive outcomes will leave a mark on both Schlam and the industry. You'll take ownership of national sales targets and craft business development strategies that disrupt the market.

  • Maintain and grow relationships with major mining clients.
  • Cement yourself as a subject matter expert and turn technical mastery into commercial advantage.
  • Work hand-in-hand with account managers, engineers, and product teams.

About You:

You're ambitious, confident, and driven by results. With experience in mining, capital equipment, or mobile equipment manufacturing, you understand the challenges operators face.

  • Bring a track record of working with major mining equipment and cut through noise to talk solutions that matter.
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities, close high-value deals, and negotiate with senior decision-makers.
  • Commercial intelligence to analyze costs, trends, and position products for ROI clarity.
  • Confident leading presentations and adapting to different environments.
