Regional Manager Job Description

The Regional Manager plays a key senior management role in supporting children and young persons in their healing journey.

They will provide leadership to the operational management team and ensure staff capability is developed to each team member's full potential.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering strategic and operational objectives while upholding the organisation's values.

As part of our senior management team, you will engage with stakeholders at a high-quality level to maintain and develop positive sector relationships.

You will promote high professional standards and ensure operations adhere to organisational policies and legislative requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a commitment to the safety of children, young people, and people with a disability, relevant qualifications in human services, and/or extensive experience in a similar role.

Senior management experience working in residential OOHC and a thorough understanding of complex trauma and therapeutics are also required.

Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working in Child Protection legislation, standards, and mandatory reporting obligations are necessary.

This role requires exceptional communication skills, excellent networking and key stakeholder engagement skills, and a proven capacity to work in a high-level leadership team.

  • Operations of the organisation will promote the safety, welfare & wellbeing, family and community connections for children supported by us.
  • Developing the practice of the region through monitoring standards of practice and delivering training/support where needed.
  • Ensuring a safe workplace for all direct and indirect reports within the region by abiding by WHS requirements and promoting the organisation's wellbeing focus.

Hold or willing to attain a valid Blue Card (QLD WWCC) and hold a current unrestricted QLD drivers licence (or equivalent).
