Therapeutic Care Manager Job

We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Care Manager to play a key role in supporting children and young persons in their healing journey through capably managing residential programs.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of therapeutic residential programs, including safety planning, crisis response, and person-centred strategies.
  • Embed a therapeutic framework by overseeing best practice implementation of tailored care and fostering an outcomes-focused team through the CREATE Model of Care.
  • Provide professional and responsive engagement with stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person meetings as a key aspect of collaborative casework and care.
  • Develop and manage program rosters.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor care teams of Therapeutic Care Workers.
  • Meet OOHC reporting requirements for programs and ensure appropriate documentation is kept in line with regulatory and legislative standards.
  • Administer and account for finance and program planning.
  • Occasionally handle after-hours and on-call duties.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in child trauma, abuse, and neglect.
  • Experience in managing residential programs.
  • Proficiency in the CREATE Model of Care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
