Junior Estimator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our team.

The Company: This multi-disciplined firm has a strong track record of winning projects in the government contract space, with a depth of knowledge and experience in winning small to major building projects.

From concept to completion, they have expertise and ability to enter niche markets and continuously evolve.

The Role:

As a Junior Estimator, you will work closely with the Estimating Manager to assist with a high volume of tenders, including schools, public works, and aged care projects.

You will be a committed individual looking for a stepping stone to grow further and receive training from highly successful estimators in a fast-paced team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise subcontractor tender prices in a timely manner.
  • Prepare take offs and estimates, manage proposal documentation and drawings, read plans and support the Estimating Manager in the preparation of tenders.

To Be Successful:

  • Construction Management or Project Management degree is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working for a recognised Australian Building Contractor (Head Contractor) in a similar capacity is required.
  • Exposure to Buildsoft / Cubit is highly advantageous.
  • Experience managing end-to-end tender process is also highly advantageous.
