Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent across various functions primarily based in Australia, with the ability to support across the wider APAC region.

About the Role

  • Talent Pipeline Development- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR to understand workforce needs, develop strategic recruitment plans, and establish effective talent pipelines for current and future roles.
  • Sourcing and Engagement- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach, to identify and engage high-potential candidates.
  • Candidate Screening and Selection- Conduct initial candidate screenings, assess qualifications and cultural fit, and provide recommendations to hiring managers. Coordinate and facilitate the interview process, including panel interviews and assessment centres if applicable.
  • Candidate Experience- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining regular communication, providing feedback, and fostering an inclusive hiring environment.
  • Data Analysis and Insights- Track and analyse key recruitment metrics (time to fill, cost per hire, source of hire, etc.) and provide actionable insights to improve processes and strategies.
  • Employer Branding- Contribute to employer branding initiatives by representing the company at job fairs, university events, and through digital channels.
  • Compliance and Reporting- Ensure all recruitment activities are in compliance with applicable laws and company policies. Maintain accurate records of all candidate data and recruitment activities.
  • Partnership- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance on market trends, candidate availability, and best practices in talent acquisition.

Your Background

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or related field.
  • Experience working in Financial Services or FinTech is highly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting across APAC is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment tools and software.
  • Experience working with Workday is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decisions.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment.
