Job Title: Workplace Health Manager

As a safety-first leader, this role will oversee Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) for the APAC region in Australia and New Zealand. You will build and maintain successful internal relationships to promote a high-performing safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor WHS policies and procedures ensuring compliance.
  • Provide information and coaching on implementing strategies, systems, and processes to support the APAC region in being WHS compliant.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to foster a strong safety culture and provide advice on matters relating to WHS.
  • Deliver engaging WHS training sessions and induction programs for current and new team members and contractors.
  • Support incident reporting and investigations, and analyze data to identify trends and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Support new launch programs and projects with WHS at the forefront.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety preferred or Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
  • Minimum five years' experience in a WHS leadership or management role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of WHS laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in creating SOPs and WHS policies.
  • Current certifications in First Aid and CPR.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment with a service-oriented attitude.
  • High-level, clear, and effective communications skills.
  • Flexible approach to work and an open mindset to embrace new ideas.
