About The Role

As the Health and Safety Advisor, you will provide specialist advice, guidance, and support on all matters relating to workplace health and safety. You'll partner with leaders and employees to foster a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance with legislation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that make a genuine impact.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert advice on health, safety, and wellbeing matters to leaders and staff.
  • Support the implementation of safety systems, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on safety performance, identifying risks and recommending improvements.
  • Lead incident investigations and support the development of preventative measures.
  • Facilitate training and awareness programs to build safety capability across the workforce.
  • Actively contribute to a positive, collaborative, and safe work environment.
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience in a health and safety advisory role within a complex organisation.
  • Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance frameworks, and best practice.
  • Skilled in risk management, incident response, and safety reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
