As a Workplace Health & Safety Advisor (AO4), Human Resources, you will be responsible for delivering professional and timely advice on WHS matters, supporting our employees with rehabilitation and return to work activities, and implementing key risk mitigation programs.You will be working within a small team of WHS specialists, supporting the department's Human Resources function and objective of achieving a healthy and safe work environment. - Provide quality advice and support on a range of workplace health, safety and wellbeing issues. Promote effective risk and injury management practices within the department and assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of WHS policies and procedures. Continue the delivery of the department's health and wellbeing programs. Assist with workers' compensation claims and rehabilitation case management of injured/ill employees. Assist with the provision of advice to business areas on the functions of the department's Early Invention Centre and Employee Assistance Service. Assist departmental staff with incident and injury/illness management.
