Community Care Specialist

We seek dedicated professionals to provide exceptional care and support services for individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities, social interaction, and household chores.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their families. As a Community Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support services, including personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance, respite, and domestic assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Support: assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Social Interaction: engaging in conversations, providing emotional support, and promoting social connections
  • Meal Preparation: preparing nutritious meals and snacks according to clients' dietary needs
  • Medication Management: prompting clients to take their medication as prescribed
  • Respite Services: providing temporary relief to caregivers, allowing them to rest and recharge
  • Domestic Assistance: performing household chores, such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping
Requirements:
  • Valid Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Certificate III or higher in Aged Care or Disability Services
  • Satisfactory Australian National Police Check
  • Current or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Smart mobile phone
  • Authorisation to work in Australia
