We are seeking a diligent and detail-focused Accounting Professional to join our dynamic team in Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning: Prepare, analyze, and report accurate financial data to facilitate timely management decisions.
  • Commercial Support: Provide business insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leadership Guidance: Offer mentorship and coaching to one direct report to foster growth and development.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Divisional Planning and Reporting Manager to drive efficiency and innovation within the team.

This role involves delivering accurate and timely monthly management reports, managing the mid-month estimate process, and overseeing the month-end close.

You will be responsible for all facets of accounting and financial functions while providing commercial and financial support to the team.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key requirements include:

  • Managing and improving the mid-month and month-end processes
  • Facilitating the Capital Expenditure process
  • Analyzing reported results to determine key drivers and future state
