Through years of proven success and diligent strategic focus the team at Polyaire are now seeking to grow their Finance team with the addition of an Accountant.

What you will do:

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Accountant role will contribute to driving financial excellence within the business. The role will provide you the ability to harness your leadership experience with one direct report whilst also being involved in the following financial operations:

  • Manage month-end processes including accruals, balance sheet reconciliations and EOM journals.
  • Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.
  • Handle end-to-end processing and management of related entities' accounts including preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Assist with year-end audit.
  • Calculate supplier rebates and landed costs for import purchases.
  • You will also support the Finance Manager and CFO while collaborating with other teams within the organisation.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory teams.
  • Manage, mentor and develop one direct report.

What you will bring to the role:

As the ideal candidate for the role, you will bring:

  • Relevant degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Previous experience with large ERP systems coupled with your excellent Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
  • High attention to detail and ability to solve problems effectively
  • Customer centric mindset and appreciation for fostering business relationships
