Trolley Mobility Specialist

Job Description

As a Trolley Collector, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our stores and surrounding areas remain pristine and hygienically clean. You will work alongside your team to collect trolleys from car parks and suburbs, pushing them up a ramp onto the collection vehicle.

You will also be responsible for collecting trolleys left in and around the store and returning them to their designated bays. Additionally, you may be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks as needed.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
  • Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
  • Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
  • Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle
  • Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
  • Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • An ambitious mindset, a love of retail, and a passion for people to grow a promising career
  • A full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence, Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates) or full International drivers Licence
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
