Our ideal candidate will lead a public policy and regulatory strategy across Australia and New Zealand. As a key member of our corporate affairs team, you will drive the company's overall approach to government relations, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage regulatory compliance for alcohol products, ensuring alignment with industry standards and laws.

• Develop and deliver government submissions on public policy matters, leveraging expertise in corporate affairs, communications, and law.

• Lead training sessions for business teams on regulatory codes and obligations, fostering a culture of compliance and responsibility.

• Oversee responsible drinking programs, promoting a positive brand image and contributing to the company's reputation.

• Partner with industry associations to strengthen the company's reputation and develop campaigns that promote its values and mission.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, legal, sustainability, and communications, to ensure consistent messaging and reinforce the company's commitment to social responsibility.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• A degree in law, public policy, communications, or corporate affairs, demonstrating a strong foundation in relevant fields.

• 5+ years of experience in regulatory, corporate affairs, communications, or government environments, showcasing your ability to navigate complex issues and build effective relationships.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to craft compelling submissions and presentations that engage stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills, allowing you to interpret regulatory codes and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Experience delivering training and building capability across business teams, driving a culture of continuous learning and development.
