Policy Strategist Opportunity

This is a dynamic opportunity to contribute as a Policy Strategist on a short-term assignment. The role involves supporting the planning, delivery and evaluation of projects relating to legislation, policy and regulation.

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging integrity and compliance issues and anticipate legislative changes and policy reforms.
  • Provide guidance and support to senior advisors and leadership teams on matters relating to process improvement, integrity, compliance, policy and regulation reforms.
  • Develop high-quality reports, presentations and correspondence that demonstrate an understanding of the operational context.
  • Support the development and maintenance of integrity and compliance approaches and frameworks for the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in policy development, regulatory reform processes, project management, research and analysis, and highly developed written and verbal communication skills.

Key Selection Criteria:
  • Policymaking: Experience in policy development, analysis, and regulatory reform processes.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing projects and working effectively in a team environment.
  • Research and Analysis: Demonstrated experience reviewing and reconciling information, analysing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data and summarising findings.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Qualifications in Public Administration or equivalent discipline.
