About the Role

We seek an Energy Policy Strategist with deep expertise in energy policy, market reform, and regulatory frameworks. This high-impact role advises government bodies, regulators, and major corporates on strategic decisions enabling sustainable transformation.


Work across complex transactions, corporate strategy, and strategic program governance, particularly within social sustainability and energy reform space. Thrive in dynamic environments and influence real change by leading key initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine energy market frameworks through collaborative stakeholder engagement and strategic advisory
  • Lead evaluation of proposed regulatory changes, including impact assessments and formal submissions
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of market structures and regulatory environments to identify opportunities for reform and innovation
  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory strategy, ensuring alignment with broader sustainability and economic objectives
  • Deliver high-level policy analysis and economic assessments to support decision-making across public and private sectors
  • Contribute to evolution of energy systems by applying forward-thinking approaches to governance, compliance, and market design

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in energy policy, regulatory reform, or market design
  • 5-10+ years' experience
  • Energy consultancy background or market body policy/regulatory body
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across public and private sectors
  • Strategic mindset with ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights
  • Passion for sustainability and driving systemic change
