Job Description

Oxley Christian College is an independent, coeducational school in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

The Director of Student Wellbeing & College Psychologist plays a vital role in overseeing the holistic psychological and emotional development of students at our college.

This position involves leading initiatives to promote student mental health, providing counselling services, and supporting the overall wellbeing of students, in alignment with our ethos and values.

As the resident College Psychologist, the purpose of this position is to provide psychological services to students within the Junior and Senior Schools where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the provision of pastoral care for students at our college
  • To lead initiatives that promote student mental health and wellbeing
  • To provide counselling services to students as required
  • To work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure the wellbeing of students

This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality, particularly when dealing with sensitive student information.
