Wellbeing Director
Job Description:- The Wellbeing Director plays a key role in leading student wellbeing and pastoral care at our school.
- Model, inspire, and support staff and students to continually improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
- Support and collaborate with the Counselling Services and Heads of Year to address ongoing behavioural/pastoral care/attendance and wellbeing concerns or issues.
- Lead consistent approaches to student wellbeing and management, and develop restorative practices throughout the College.
- Develop and lead the Middle Pastoral Care Program in conjunction with the Heads of Year.
- Coordinate events and programs that promote student wellbeing.
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school and its mission.
- Up-to-date knowledge of wellbeing practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of resources for seeking information to support students, parents, and staff.
- Perseverance, sensitivity, compassion, and patience in complex situations.
- Discretion when handling confidential information.
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- Commencing Term 4, 2025 or by negotiation.
- POL4 with 0.5 FTE (22 periods per cycle).
- Two-year term with an ongoing contract opportunity.
