Senior Organisational Development Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Organisational Development (OD) professional to join our team in the Department of Education. As a Senior OD Consultant, you will play a key role in contributing to the successful delivery of a range of OD programs, including the implementation of the Performance Development Program, driving forward-facing performance conversation culture, onboarding/offboarding, EVP, People Matter Survey, Recognition, Cultural initiatives, and VPS values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and delivery of OD programs and solutions that align with the Department's People Strategy and Operations Plan.
- Provide support to people managers across corporate areas of the department to ensure high-quality, practical, and effective OD approaches are understood and incorporated into business-as-usual practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive positive change within the organisation and achieve organisational vision and strategy.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of OD frameworks and best practices.
- Engage with managerial and executive groups to drive organisational development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources (Organisational Development) and/or Organisational Psychology.
- Experience working across a range of organisational development areas, including performance management, induction, EVP, employment surveys, reward and recognition, learning, and leadership.
- Prior experience in the design and delivery of OD programs and solutions.
- Prior experience managing a small team of OD professionals.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OD frameworks and best practices.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working across the broader Organisational Development remit, such as leadership.
