Human Resource Advisor

As a vital member of our team, you will provide expert human resource services to internal and external stakeholders. Your role will involve offering advice and support on policies, industrial relations legislation, enterprise agreements, and workforce strategies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing generalist HR advice to managers and employees on various HR matters;
  • Supporting and assisting managers in developing plans and strategies to drive desired outcomes in culture, caregiver capability, and workforce engagement;
  • Collaborating with and coaching managers on workforce issues and identifying improvement strategies;
  • Offering advice and assistance to managers on caregiver performance management and improvement strategies;
  • Assisting with HR and business analytics, working with managers to develop, implement, and support strategies that lead to improved performance and operational target achievements;
  • Overseeing caregiver non-work-related 'Fitness for Work' activities and Workers Compensation Cases, including liaison with relevant teams;
  • Assisting and supporting managers with interactions with union representatives on employee-related matters;
  • Working with the shared HR services team to provide and support required transactional and specialist advice services;

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary-level qualification in Human Resources;
  • Sound generalist HR knowledge and experience across various areas;
  • Experience in delivering human resource services in a complex work environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills;
