We are seeking a professional to manage claims from lodgement through to completion, ensuring optimal customer outcomes under our policy coverage.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactive end-to-end management of strata claims within designated authority limits, liaising with relevant parties and providing regular updates on claim progress.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage strata claims from lodgement to completion, meeting Service Level Agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with stakeholders to provide regular claim updates and leverage expertise as needed.
- Respond to customer inquiries over the phone and via email.
- Review expert reports and apply policy wording to determine coverage and response.
- Conduct evaluations and investigatory tasks by gathering and documenting information within our systems.
- Communicate claim decisions to brokers and customers in writing.
- Assist team members and identify opportunities for process improvement to support team goals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in insurance claims handling, preferably within the property or strata space.
- Willingness to support flexible working practices where possible.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
