We are seeking a skilled and driven professional to join our team as a Strata Claims Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strata claims, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that all claims are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
About the Role- You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strata claims from initial assessment through to resolution.
- You will provide support and advice to policyholders during the claims process, ensuring that they receive exceptional customer service at all times.
- You will examine claim forms, policies, and endorsements to determine coverage and ensure that all claims are properly processed.
- You will investigate claims by analyzing physical damage details and interviewing claimants, ensuring that all necessary information is gathered and documented.
- You will set loss reserves and update them as necessary, ensuring that our financial position is accurately reflected at all times.
- You will prepare reports by collecting and summarizing information, ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed.
- You will settle claims after determining liability, ensuring that all parties are satisfied with the outcome.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with policyholders and other stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and prioritization, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports and correspondence.
- Previous experience in strata claims or general insurance, with a strong understanding of insurance terminology, practices, and conditions.
