Therapy Assistant Job Description">

As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients and healthcare professionals with the selection and use of assistive technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise and advise clients on the use of assistive technology
  • Work closely with Occupational Therapists and other healthcare professionals to support their prescribing of assistive technology
  • Liaise with external organisations in the NDIS and homecare space
  • Communicate new and existing assistive technology concepts to Occupational Therapists
  • Provide feedback on the ranging of new and existing assistive technology
  • Assist clients and healthcare professionals in product selection
  • Build relationships with stakeholders
  • Assist with training our team
Requirements:
  • Experience in the use of assistive technology
  • Excellent listening and problem-solving skills
  • Cheerful, empathetic, and engaging with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good standard of computer skills and literacy
  • Demonstrated high level of organisational skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills and a great communicator
