Senior Culinary Manager

As a Senior Culinary Manager with the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality food services to patients and staff. With a focus on efficiency and effectiveness, you will oversee the production and distribution of food, maintaining the highest standards of quality control.
This senior position involves overseeing catering staff, training apprentices, and allocating work priorities to ensure timely and quality service delivery. You will work closely with the dietitian to meet specific nutritional requirements for patients and be responsible for plating meals, menu selections, and ordering non-imprest food supplies.
We are seeking an experienced Cook who can bring their trade qualifications or equivalent skills to this role. With previous experience in preparing bulk meals and dietary requirements, you will be able to work well within a team environment and adapt to various settings.
The successful applicant will have the ability to work in liaison with other healthcare professionals and contribute to an inter-professional approach to holistic healthcare. A proven track record in overseeing catering staff is highly regarded, but not essential.
