About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network in Eudunda and Kapunda. As a key member of our catering services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and distribution of food, ensuring it meets high standards of quality and efficiency.
Salary Details
The annual salary package for this position is estimated to be around $60,000, based on a part-time working arrangement with 32 hours per week. In addition to the base salary, we offer competitive benefits including salary sacrifice options, employer superannuation contributions, and leave loading.
Job Description
As a Senior Culinary Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Oversight of food production and distribution processes to ensure high-quality output
- Coordinating with the dietitian to meet specific nutritional requirements for patients
- Training and supervising catering staff, including apprentices
- Allocating work priorities to ensure efficient use of resources
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold trade qualifications or equivalent skills as a Cook, with previous experience in preparing and cooking bulk meals and dietary requirements. A flexible approach to work and rostering systems is essential, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
