About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Coffee Specialist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced café environment.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, including espresso-based coffee, teas, and specialty drinks. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of exceptional customer service.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve high-quality beverages with precision and attention to detail.
  • Adjust and calibrate coffee grinders to maintain consistent quality and flavor profiles.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace, including equipment and customer areas.
  • Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service, taking orders and handling payments.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and inventory management.
  • Comply with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years proven experience as a barista in a busy café or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation methods and grinder calibration.
  • Ability to consistently produce high-quality espresso and milk texturing (latte art is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak times.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and enthusiastic attitude.
