Coffee Specialist Job Description
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Coffee Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers, inform them about specials or new items, answer questions, and accept orders and payments.
- Prepare foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grind and blend coffee beans, brew coffee and tea, and serve items to customers.
- Packaging food and beverages for sale.
- Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
- Updating signage and displays to attract customers.
- Helping in the toaster and fryers when necessary.
- Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
- Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
To be successful as a Coffee Specialist, you should have at least 6 months of experience in a similar role. You must also possess strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work quickly, efficiently, and safely.
A willingness to learn, share, and have fun with our lovely and collaborative team is essential.
