Project Coordination Specialist

The role is perfect for an experienced electrical professional seeking a challenging opportunity to lead critical infrastructure projects in Western Australia.

The successful candidate will oversee the design and delivery of multiple small to medium, complex electrical capital works for state government client-side projects. A strong focus on safety, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction is paramount.

About the Role:
  • Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of electrical projects in line with Main Roads specifications and client requirements.
  • Develop and manage project documentation, including delivery plans, resource and financial plans, quality plans, and inspection/test plans.
  • Review designs for compliance and provide technical advice on constructability.
  • Coordinate schedules, budgets, and milestones to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, consultants, local government, and other agencies.
  • Provide regular progress, expenditure, and forecast reports.
About You:
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to liaise effectively.
  • Understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Policies, especially electrical safety.
  • A Current WA 'C' Class driver's licence (or approved equivalent).
  • Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electrical Trade Certificate, or recognised equivalent qualification desirable.
