Electrical Project Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled coordinator to manage electrical projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical engineering and telecommunications, ensuring seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver electrical and telecommunications services, guaranteeing on-time, within-budget, and high-quality project outcomes.
  • Provide technical advice across design, construction, and program modifications, fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ensure robust project performance, proactively addressing issues and adapting to challenging conditions.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage resources across work areas and teams to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Make informed decisions that contribute to project profitability, applying sound commercial judgment.
  • Build lasting relationships by understanding client needs and delivering quality outcomes that meet contract, budget, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain strict adherence to HSEQ standards, demonstrating commitment to safety, quality, and environmental performance.
  • Select capable suppliers and subcontractors based on quality, safety, and value for money, overseeing their performance and resource efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Electrical Engineering, preferably on major construction projects.
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering and Cert III Telecommunications (essential).
  • Australian Defence background is desirable, and the ability to obtain and maintain Defence security clearance is mandatory.
