Electrical Project Coordinator Job Opportunity

This role will involve overseeing a range of electrical and mechanical projects, with a focus on technical, project management, and people skills.

The Electrical Project Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring capital project implementation and special maintenance tasks are planned and executed in line with customers' requirements. They will also assist with the management of site implementation contracts, ensuring scopes of work are accurate and that contractor site work performance is managed as per contract terms.

Some key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing scopes of work and issuing permits
  • Ensuring project site activities are planned and carried out in line with relevant environmental procedures
  • Managing consultants and contractors while carrying out work related to operations/maintenance or capital projects
  • Awarding contracts for supply of goods and services in line with company policies

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Electrical Trade Certificate
  • Demonstrable experience in electrical installation or maintenance within mining, chemical, or mineral processing industries
  • Proven experience managing multiple small scale projects and dealing with competing priorities
  • In-depth understanding of project management fundamentals
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to communicate effectively across all levels of the business
