Electrical Project Coordinator

This challenging opportunity exists for an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator to join a long-term services construction project in Rockingham, WA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering electrical and telecommunications services ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead assigned scopes of work: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Provide technical advice: Across design, construction, and program modifications.
  • Maintain strong project performance: Take ownership of issues in your scope and adapt to challenging conditions.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage resources: Across work areas and teams to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Apply commercial judgement: Contribute to project profitability.
  • Build positive relationships: Understand client needs and deliver quality outcomes that meet contract, budget, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure site activities comply with HSEQ standards: Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, and environmental performance.
  • Select and engage capable suppliers: Based on quality, safety, and value for money.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance: And resource efficiency to deliver successful outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in Electrical Engineering, ideally on major construction projects.
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering and Cert III Telecommunications (essential).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Defence security clearance (essential).
  • Australian Defence background is desirable.
