Opportunity Overview

This is a unique opportunity to lead the Membership Growth & Experience Manager role, driving two key areas: membership strategy and student engagement. You will shape the future of membership at USU while supporting student-led programs that bring campus to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a membership growth strategy that drives acquisition and retention.
  • Lead and inspire a team across programs including volunteering, student voice, and international student engagement.
  • Oversee engaging events and campaigns that boost membership numbers and create memorable student experiences.
  • Manage project resources with both precision and creativity.
  • Build strong relationships across campus, from student leaders to university executives.
Requirements
  • Experience creating and delivering strategies that grow and retain membership and customer engagement.
  • Proven leadership skills – you build high-performing, inclusive, and motivated teams.
  • Strategic thinking and strong project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • 3+ years' experience in management, membership-based, youth-focused, or engagement-driven roles.
