Lead Palliative Care Specialist
As a pivotal leader in patient-centred care, you will deliver expert clinical advice and consultancy in palliative and supportive care. You will drive quality improvement and evidence-based care initiatives within a community-focused hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert clinical advice and consultancy in palliative and supportive care
- Lead and participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives
- Provide education, mentorship and clinical support to multidisciplinary teams
- Initiate and participate in clinical research, service planning and strategic initiatives
- Drive practice improvement and lead clinical reviews across acute care services
Requirements:
- Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum five (5) years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least three (3) years in the speciality field in Palliative Care, Cancer Care, Advanced or Aged Care Nursing
- Postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field or other qualifications/experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation
