About the Event Manager Role at Hatch

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Manager to join our team at Hatch. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating large-scale exhibitions, working within budgets and timelines, and effectively utilizing our company's processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Event Planning and Coordination: Coordinate and support the planning of events in the Hatch portfolio, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.
  2. Project Management: Uphold event timelines and collaborate with team members on deliverables and due dates, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  3. Problem-Solving and Innovation: Monitor event deliverables and proactively address challenges with innovative solutions, ensuring events are delivered within agreed parameters.
  4. Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate communication with suppliers and contractors to ensure seamless event execution, and collaborate with venues to fulfill all planning requirements.
  5. Logistics and Operations: Coordinate logistics for event needs, including equipment, resources, and materials, and manage on-site event rosters efficiently.
  6. Financial Management: Work within assigned budgets to achieve financial objectives, ensuring events are delivered within budget and to the required standard.
  7. Event Documentation and Standards: Establish and maintain plans and information for all events using the organization's project management system, including risks, scope, size, and timelines in consultation with stakeholders.
  8. Event Insurance and Risk Management: Ensure events are delivered within agreed parameters and according to the company's event management methodology, including managing event insurance and public liability requirements.
