Job Description

AWS owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all global infrastructure. We're responsible for ensuring customers have continual access to innovation.

We support all data centers and servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that guarantee customer access.

We tackle complex problems with numerous variables impacting the supply chain.

You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other professionals.

Key responsibilities include managing critical categories within the Environment, Health and Safety domain, achieving cost savings through bidding and negotiations, driving collaboration to achieve long-term value delivery, and obtaining market intelligence and analyzing category data and metrics.

The Procurement Category Management Org is responsible for the procurement of third-party services required for Data Center operations globally.

This role manages the category scope of sourcing within the Environment Health & Safety domain.

This regional role negotiates contracts and sources third-party services required for Data Center operations.

While cost reduction is key, the primary focus is delivering services increasing reliability and supporting enhanced availability through robust relationships.

Our goal is to provide a highly reliable, scalable, and low-cost cloud platform powering thousands of businesses in over 190 countries.

As a member of this team, you will collaborate with others to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost.
